Day date with Jess

Since Nick had to work all Saturday I got Jess all to myself for the day! She came down to SLC and we enjoyed lunch at Paradise Bakery, bought plants at Cactus and Tropical, attended our adorable cousin Abi's baptism, wandered Gateway mall in the cold, and warmed up with carmel hot chocolate and cider. It was such a fun day and I have to say I was extremely excited to get this plant! I've heard about this cute place and have wanted to go for awhile. The plant on the left is the exact one I had in mind for my little desk. It already feels like there's more oxygen in my room..hehe! Anyway, so I'd like to introduce our new babies- Mitchell is Jessie's plant and I'm still working on a name for my Jade plant. Any suggestions? 2009 goal- don't kill the pretty plants!

Okay, now I feel weird we are naming our plants. haha, oh well.

winter in yellowstone

This was such a fun day with our entire family plus the grandparents. It was an all day tour of Yellowstone on what they call a "Snow Coach." As you can see in the picture it's a big van with skis and some kind of track things on the back. Anyway, it was great to be together all day and see the beauty and wonder of Yellowstone! Thanks Mom and Dad!!

Christmas Eve in Logan

I love this tradition and look forward to it every year! We have a progressive dinner with the Neeley side and end with a Christmas program at the grandparents. I'm so grateful for such an amazing family! Here are some of the highlights..
